Ownership, attribution and reuse · Effective October 24, 2026

Tony’s Guide is an independent destination publication created and published by Anthony DePass. These reuse permissions apply to material whose rights Anthony DePass owns or controls across the Center Hill Lake, Jamaica, Mentone, Bryson City and Gruene editions.

Read, plan and share

You are welcome to read the guides, link to any public page, share its link or built-in sharing preview, and save or print reasonable copies for your own personal, noncommercial trip planning. You may share brief excerpts of our original writing with attribution and a link to the source page. Keep the author and photograph credits with any permitted copy. Linking does not require permission.

Give the original source credit

For a permitted excerpt, identify the author, guide or article title, edition and original URL. For example: “Anthony DePass, Tony’s Guide — [article title], [original page URL].” Credit photographs to the photographer named in the caption or credits, not automatically to Tony’s Guide. Do not imply endorsement or present copied material as your own.

Ask before republishing or cloning

Except where a licence or the law permits it, written permission is required to republish full articles or substantial portions of the guide, redistribute our original photographs, copy protected site code or distinctive creative artwork, or reproduce substantial original material in another website, product or commercial publication. A credit or backlink alone does not grant those rights. Do not remove ownership notices or photo credits from permitted copies.

Photographs, sources and other owners

Credits and source links identify the photographer, author, archive, agency or other rights holder where applicable. Creative Commons material remains governed by its specified licence, including attribution, licence links, change notices and any share-alike conditions. Public-domain material remains public domain. Linking to a source does not transfer its rights to us, and we cannot grant permission on another owner’s behalf. Photographs credited to Gianna remain credited to Gianna; this notice does not transfer a photographer’s ownership.

What this notice covers

Copyright can protect original human-authored expression, photographs, artwork, software code and eligible creative elements. This notice does not claim exclusive rights in facts, place names, historical events, general ideas, common design patterns or material that is not copyrightable. Rights follow actual authorship, applicable agreements and law. No copyright registration or trademark registration is claimed by this notice.

Public discovery remains welcome

The guides remain open to readers. Ordinary search indexing, links and previews are welcome. These notices introduce no account requirement, paywall, copy-blocking script or new crawler restriction. They do not grant a licence to republish complete guides.

Permission and attribution questions

Use Tony’s Guide’s contact and corrections form to ask about reuse, supply a missing credit or report an ownership concern. Include the relevant page URL, the material involved and your intended use. A request is not permission until the appropriate rights holder confirms it.

Nothing here limits fair use, fair dealing, accessibility rights or other uses permitted by applicable law. Specific written permissions and the stated licences for individual items take precedence.
